Geschichte:
Der Maserati Biturbo Spyder war der erste offene Maserati seit dem Ghibli. Auf Basis des Giugiaro Entwurfes verkürzte Zagato den Radstand, wodurch ein echter Spyder entstand. Der Biturbo Spyder ist das Erfolgsmodell von MASERATI. Dieses exklusive Cabriolet, von Limacher in Horw ausgeliefert, wurde in den vergangenen 38 Jahren konsequent von Maserati Spezialisten gepflegt und gewartet. Das Original Serviceheft ist genauso vorhanden wie der jüngste Beleg der im März 2025 erneuerten Wasserpumpe sowie einem neuen Zahnriemen. Eine ebenso exklusive Farbkombination unterstreicht dieses äusserst schöne Exemplar mit den edlen BBS-Rädern. Die Originalräder sind vorhanden.
Karosserie und Lack:
Die Karosserie wie auch die Lackierung in der Originalfarbe Nero ist in exzellentem Zustand. Nur sehr wenige kleine Dellen zeugen von unvorsichtigen Parkiernachbarn. Sämtliche Chrom- und Kunststoffelemente sind in veteranenwürdigem Zustand.
Interieur:
Das Leder sowie die Teppichlandschaft wurden für den Verkauf frisch aufbereitet und das Interieur komplett entkeimt. Auch die originale Maserati-Uhr funktioniert, allerdings gönnt sie sich jeden Tag ca. 5 Minuten mehr.
Motor und Mechanik:
Sowohl das originale Serviceheft wie auch die Abgasdokumente dokumentieren die lückenlose Pflege dieses Biturbo. Im März 2025 wurde der Zahnriemen mitsamt Spannrolle präventiv ersetzt.
Fahrwerk:
Das Fahrwerk wie auch die Bremsen sind frisch MFK-geprüft. Die hinteren Bremsen wurden erneuert und die Prüfstandwerte sind einwandfrei.
Fahrerlebnis:
Der Maserati Biturbo Spyder ist ein unauffälliges Genussfahrzeug, ein eleganter Sportler und ein enorm bequemes Fahrzeug. In den weichen Sitzen, die gleichwohl sehr guten Seitenhalt bieten, macht man es sich bequem und fährt entspannt bis zum nächsten Tankstopp. Die grosse Überraschung ist das Fahrwerk, denn man sieht dem Spyder nicht an, welch hohe Kurvengeschwindigkeiten, auch dank des kurzen Radstandes, erreicht werden können. Nebst der aktiven, so wurde auch passive Sicherheit sehr gross geschrieben beim Erfolgsmodell von Maserati.
Empfehlung:
Ein klassisches Sport-Cabriolet mit dem Hauch von Exklusivität zum Preis von etwas mehr als CHF 30'000? Kein Zweifel, nebst viel Fahrfreude und Exklusivität bleibt der Biturbo Spyder ein beständiger Wert – als Genussfahrzeug wie auch als Anlage.

History:
The Maserati Biturbo Spyder was the first open-top Maserati since the Ghibli. With the Biturbo, the brand succeeded in based on the Giugiaro design, Zagato shortened the wheelbase, creating a true Spyder. The Biturbo Spyder is MASERATI's most successful model. This exclusive convertible, delivered by Limacher in Horw, has been consistently maintained and serviced by Maserati specialists over the past 38 years. The original service booklet is present, as is the most recent evidence of the water pump, which was replaced in March 2025, and a new timing belt. An equally exclusive colour combination underlines this extremely beautiful example with the elegant BBS wheels. The original wheels are present.
Bodywork and paintwork:
The bodywork and paintwork in the original Nero colour are in excellent condition. Only very few small dents are evidence of careless parking neighbours. All chrome and plastic elements are in veteran-worthy condition.
Interior:
The leather and carpets have been freshly refurbished for the sale and the interior has been completely sanitised. The original Maserati clock also works, although it allows itself an extra 5 minutes every day.
Engine and mechanics:
Both the original service booklet and the emissions documents document the complete care of this Biturbo. The timing belt and tensioner pulley were replaced as a preventive measure in March 2025.
Chassis:
The chassis and brakes are freshly MOT-approved. The rear brakes have been replaced and the test bench values are flawless.
Driving experience:
The Maserati Biturbo Spyder is an unobtrusive pleasure vehicle, an elegant sports car and an extremely comfortable vehicle. In the soft seats, which nevertheless offer excellent lateral support, you make yourself comfortable and drive relaxed until the next refuelling stop. The big surprise is the suspension, because you can't tell by looking at the Spyder what high cornering speeds can be achieved, thanks in part to the short wheelbase. In addition to active and passive safety, Maserati's successful model also places great emphasis on safety.
Recommendation:
A classic sports convertible with a touch of exclusivity at a price of just over CHF 30,000? There's no doubt about it, in addition to great driving pleasure and exclusivity, the Biturbo Spyder remains an enduring value - both as a pleasure vehicle and as an investment.
